This anime spring 2023 list is joined by a rather interesting novelty, Jigokuraku, from the hand of MAPPA, a studio that has brought us great anime such as Jujutsu or Shingeki among others, so surely this anime will not disappoint us.

She was the reason he went soft and failed to be an effective assassin.

Asaemon the Headbreaker, famous executioner, makes a proposal to the ninja Gabimaru. He wants him to be part of an expedition on an island in southern Japan in search of the elixir of life in exchange for a pardon from the Shogunate. But this island is not a normal island: it is full of mysteries.
